ORTHODONTICS

What is Orthodontics?

Orthodontic treatment is the process of moving teeth to their correct position in the mouth. Orthodontics is not merely for improving the aesthetics of the smile, it also improves bad bites (malocclusions). Malocclusions occur as a result of tooth or jaw misalignment. Malocclusions affect the way you smile, chew, clean your teeth, or feel about your smile.

Orthodontic treatment is not a one-time appointment such as other dental procedures. Depending of the severity of the case, orthodontic treatment can take several months to more than 2 years to complete. Having straight teeth and proper occlusion will not only help you with chewing and speaking, but you will also benefit by having a great smile!

How could you benefit from Orthodontics?

  • Straightened teeth
  • Optimal occlusion
  • Improved smile
  • Improved self-confidence
