What is a Fluoride Treatment?

Fluoride treatment is a procedure done to help strengthen the enamel on your teeth. Fluoride is a mineral that helps repair caries in the early stages as well as help to prevent future caries.

Normally when fluoride is placed, you must wait 30 minutes to eat or drink. Specific instructions will be given if you receive a fluoride treatment.
